Eddie Eagan wins the gold in bobsledding racing (as a part of the American team), at the 1932 winter Olympics held in Lake Placid, New York. The medal makes Eagan the first ever athlete to win an Olympic medal in the summer games and in the winter games. he earned that title due to the gold medal he won in boxing, at the 1920 summer games held in Antwerp.
